The NDP has a stronger chance then the LPC of beating the CPC. You numbers in the seat projections show this and a quick look at the candidate also shows this. The NDP candidate is a star and well know whereas the LPC candidate is a nobody who has done almost no campaigning. Most progressive blogs have support coalescing around the NDP candidate.
