I guess Orchard's crowd didn't carry as much weight as some assumed, although to his credit his 'friends' are scattered all over the west (including western ont)... I can't understand the ignatieff momentum but i guess maybe the country's shifting right so people think the party should continue that growth. In a province like Sask, where the ndp has always been strong, I would have thought the results would have been more similar to wacky BC -- where lefties like Rae and Kennedy cruised to the top (in either order)... fascinating.</description>

					<description>As an Orchard supporter and an Ontarian who's met with David on several occasions and had a one on one lunch with him, I can confirm the fact that 'burlivespipe' pointed out: David's support network is quite impressive, yet not heavily concentrated in any one place.  So far as I can tell, this fact holds true vis-a-vis his Saskatchewan network.  In fact, I believe his network in Ontario is more extensive and better organized (his brother Grant is in charge of his Ontario network) on all fronts than his Saskatchewan nework.</description>
