Donate $10.10 for 10/10 Vote on MMP

Scott Tribe emailed me with a challenge that Mark Greenan has issued — to ask everyone who supports electoral reform to donate $10.10 (in honour of the referendum on 10/10) to the Vote for MMP Campaign. It’s time to put your money where your values are. They need money to get the word out, as we’re now 9 weeks away from the referendum and the promised public education campaign has yet to materialize. So, go over to the Vote for MMP website and donate $10.10 (or more!). Come on! You can afford ten bucks! FYI, a $10.10 donation will be anonymous, since any donation under $100 is not reported. So, if you can afford it and want to maintain anonymity, please donate $99.99 (not sure if $100 even gets reported or not).

That’s a very nice post, Greg. I’ve donated for all the members of my family and I challenge others to do the same. $10 per person is less than one Tim Horton’s coffee per month. A small price to pay for democracy, wouldn’t you say?
