Put DemocraticSPACE Seat Projections in Your Sidebar

Want to embed the latest DemocraticSPACE Ontario 2007 Seat Projections on your blog’s sidebar? I’ve put together a simple iframe code that will embed the following, which will automatically update when we update our projections.

How to embed this into your site?
1. Download the code.
2. Highlight this code, copy it and paste it where you want it on your site.
3. Adjust the “width” number (in pixels) to fit your site (default is 125 pixels, although you can make it wider if you want).
4. That’s it.

If you want a bigger horizontal version (standard 470 pixels wide, but could be as small as 385 pixels), CLICK HERE.

Instant seat projection updates…

How great is that! As you can see I’ve added the democraticSPACE seat projection onto my sidebar. Any time Greg Morrow update his projections based on new information the information on blog is instantly update. Pretty cool, eh? But that……

Gary — just click the “current projection” link and it will launch a PDF — scroll down to find Ottawa Centre.

Just a quick note. There seems to be a discrepancy in your code. The current update is Oct 2 (as shown in the upper right which links to …/20070930-sidebar.html while the code for the sidebar links to …/current-projections-sidebar.html

Do we need to update our code, or is this a time lag issue?

Jordon — no, the code is correct — the correct file is current-projections-sidebar.html. For my site I force it manually to use the date of the update because my system uses a php cache that takes a while to update. So its my way of getting around the cache. But for people who install the sidebar on their site, the other file is correct.
