Registration complete and I’ve wandered around the vastness that is the Palais des Congres. I met up with Jason Morris of the Gauntlet, and Ignatieff supporter, and we took in the policy plenary, where all the resolutions were adopted without dissent. One gets the distinct impression that the real debate happened yesterday in the policy workshops. Apart from one unhappy man from Alberta — it was a relatively sedate affair.
I’m now sitting in the “bloggers room”, which has the distinct feeling of being the “kiddies room”. Dion blogger Jason Cherniak is sitting across the table fending off media requests. Radio-Canada is here looking for French-speaking bloggers but isn’t having much luck. Ignatieff blogger Antonio DiDomizio is also on hand.
Bob Rae is having a bear pit at noon, so I think I will take that in.
