So I’ve been running around the Convention Centre. I had a long talk with a man from the Chinese Embassy, which was interesting — I’m not sure what the Chinese Government’s interests here are but we talked about the various scenarios that could unfold — I will do a post shortly dedicated to that. Otherwise, I talked with John Stephenson, who is the director of new media for the Kennedy campaign. The Kennedy campaign also fed me lunch (buying off the media!). CTV is here in the blogger room doing a story and looking for scoops. Greg Staples of Political Staples is now here. I also ran into Bob Rae outside, as he was going for lunch. I didn’t stop him as it was raining and he was on his cell phone. Stephane Dion’s crew just had another flash mob session in the lobby and Ken Dryden’s team was handing out “Big Canada” cookies.
