LAurie Scott polled 47% in 2003, against two candidates who declared early. At this time, the Libs do not have a viable candidate, & the Dippers have not made uo their minds either. Expect Scott to surpass the 50% mark in October!

Laurie Scott is going to have her work cut for her in the next election. Everyone still remembers her not going to the debates because she is “not a good public speaker” Well this election expext change.

Steve better put his name forward, as we still do not have declared Grit or Dipper candidates.Scott will not have to defend her recordm whereas any Liberal sacrificial lamb will have ” a lot of splainin to do” Landslide for Laurie!

Wanted: A Liberal & NDP candidate for this riding.
No reasonable offers will be refused.
Only stipulations, candidate must be over 19, & breathing!

The NDP already have their candidate they are having their nomination meeting in a week or so. I havn’t seen the Liberals anywhere wonder if they will put up an candidate.

Sure do, Liberal sock puppet Rick Johnston, to be former president of the Ontario Public School Board Association.
The Association is suppose to be non-partisan but obviously it has become a feeder farm for the liberals. No wonder it lacks any political action on one school system, especially as it has had it on its books, as the association’s policy since 2003. Good riddence!

Apparently McGuinty asked Johnson to step forward as a “one trick pony”, on the faith based school funding issue. Interestingly, John Tory has been talking about this initiative for the last year, & in the past few months, Johnson has expressed his admiration for Tory! Could there be an appointment in the wind for this sacrificial lamb?

Comment/commentaire by Tory Blue 08.22.07 @ 7:11 am

“past few months, Johnson has expressed his admiration for Tory” can you provide proof of this? Sounds to be a one issue candidate however this issue has been growing in the Liberal media to bash Tory. However I doubt this will be the defining issue in the election.
