This riding is also a very close race.Nathan Cullen needs a 4-5% shift in Liberal support to ensure a victory on election night for the New Democrats.

Yes, this is a close race. However, on a simple comparison of the candidates based on their personal and professional merits, especially after the all-candidates’ meetings, Nathan Cullen should have the edge. He is bright, open, committed, hard-working, and a broadly tolerant listener. By contrast, his Conservative opponent seems wooden, ideologically set in concrete, and limited in imagination. Anyone who sees the two men in action can readily see the difference. I predict a Cullen victory.

This riding covers the most (the only?) economically depressed area in BC. Cullen’s glibness offers no relief; Scott’s record as a MP speaks eloquently enough for him.

It figures, we elect a Conservative government and we elect an NDP canadate in this Riding, It’s like tits on a Bull. WoW/

Natan Cullen should win this riding. Mike Scott showed his true colours at the Houston all candidates meeting. The first nations vote should fall into the Cullen camp because of Mike Scott’s anti first nation comments.

The Native Indians of Skeena have helped elect NDP MP’s for years and look what it has got them! Scott offers them a vision of self-sufficiency and earned pride - contrast that with the do-gooders who offer only more of the same old dependency and victimhood.

too close to call.

Scott’s attitudes toward the Nisga’a Agreement showed little respect for the Nisga’a and the opportunity to earn pride by working for Canadians who stole it from them in the first place. The Nisga’a Agreement has created conditions under which greater integration of our cultures will take place on a more equal footing, a kind of redress that had long been needed.

To dismiss Cullen as merely “glib,” as if to suggest that he’s all talk and no action is purely a partisan smear. He’s proven himself a capable MP and is likely to do it again after January 23.

Al, 100% of the earth’s useable land has been “stolen” and restolen ad nauseum. We have to get beyond such red herrings and get on with empowering INDIVIDUAL Native Indians to control and improve their lives. What has been done to those people over the last 50 years is the most shameful thing that our nation could EVER imagine doing. Please be part of the solution and don’t help to perpetuate such disgraceful policies.

Who is holding out on us? By now the bailing-out-Liberal vote has probably split to favour both front runners. Update please!

Conservative Win. Final Answer.
