It would take some doing for the tories to win but its possible, however at the moment I have to lean in favour of a Liberal win.

Polling in this riding is getting really close. The Conservatives may just steal this one too. Four weeks ago, I would never have dreamt it, but I think the Conservatives take 9 seats in Manitoba, including this one.

If Cooper spoke french he would do better in this riding.

NDP ALL THE WAY

This is one that might need some strategtic voting by the NDP to shift it to the Liberals. To the NDP - I know you may have to hold your nose while voting Liberal but it’s either you do or you will bring in a Conservative in this riding. I don’t care for the Liberals either but consider what’s at stake and the reality that Allard, as nice a person as is, has no chance.

this race is tighter than one would usually expect. As ironic as it will sound, the weather has an important role in the outcome. Seeing as the weather is good, the strong liberal base (primarily older voters) will provide the leverage needed to give M. Simard the victory, without an NDP strategic voting shift.
