Not to accuse voters of being racist, but the CPC and LPC candidates here are both native, the white NDP candidate, who nearly won last time, should be able to win this time if on ethnic vote splitting alone.

I do not think that white people will flock to the NDP - I do think that many white people will vote for the COnservative candidate - might be a 3 way race ?

Plez vote NDP and make sure that we get our far, distant voices heard.

From where I sit, it looks to be a 3 way race. Ethel usually gets most of the Dene vote, but the Conservative candidate is also Dene. The Conservative candidate (Edjericon) will also take votes away from Denis. We won’t know til the 23rd. Make sure everybody votes!

The NDP is the best way to go trust me on that as a 65 year old voter lived in Canada all my life. From Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax. With my experience the NDP are the best choice if they ever win majority (which will not happen till people have a taste of the conservatives (which I have had) than NDP will have a chance of majority) the NDP would make Canada into a Country which all would want to live in, work, and educate their children. With my experience as a voter I believed the unbelievable (liberals) and turning our country into a US state (conservatives) and than the NDP some mistakes but nothing compared to other parties. The party to trust, the party that fights for Canada and its citizens and knows what Canadians need and want! Vote NDP trust them and you will not regret it = ). Jack Layton actually came up to the riding which shows that the NDP at least take the north seriously. I think Ethel thinks she just owns the place. I think the most important thing is that everyone actually gets out there and votes. I really hope Dennis takes it!

Jack decided to visit and was the only leader to bother…..Yeah I would vote NDP too.

I believe ridings like this, that Liberals merely expect, but don’t earn are riped to fall in this election. Seats that were ‘locks’ for 13 years are now clear victories. If the NDP win this riding they can rebuild their Northern infrastructure.

I agree that the NDP will probably win here this time.

I can’t believe the territories will vote anything but Liberal or they will lose the aboriginal agreement.. please be strategic

Pulleasse! Vote for whomever you want to be represented by. Strategic voting is ridiculous. (NDP, will win this riding by the way, merely by the Jack factor.) Don’t be a coward - vote your values, whatever they may be.

A Conservative minority, with the NDP holding the balance of power. The NWT will finally be on the map! Devolution, here we come!
