You’ve got this in the solidly Liberal category… but don’t be so sure. If Harper has some luck in the 905 and any of the Mississaugas go conservative, this will probably be the first one… or at least before Mississauga-Erindale or Mississauga-Streetsville (Though Gill may be able to bring that one around himself).

I agree with B.N regarding this riding. According to several polls the conservative support has surged with “wealthy” people and this is an affluent riding and it has a conservative history. It went P.C. in 1980 when the rest of the Mississauga area went Liberal. It should be a conservative win here if Harper wins

Szabo to be defeated. Harper wins. Liberal thieves are booted out.

There’s some Bay Street influence in this riding. They’ll want a representative to sit on the government side of the house. Phil Green will take it.

If there was ever a time for it, NOW is the time for NDP supporters in this riding to vote Liberal in order to prevent a Conservative majority government. This riding is so close, one vote could make the difference. If the Conservatives are held to a minority, the NDP will have influence over government policy. If the Conservatives get a majority, NDP supporters should be prepared to duck to avoid being hit by flying social programs on the way to the trash bin.

GO PHIL GO! ALL PEEL WEST (M-SOUTH, M-ERINDALE, M-STREETSVILLE, B-WEST) NEED TO GO BLUE ON JAN 23rd.

THE NDP IS GOING TO DO WELL IN T.O. DOWNTOWN, HAMILITON, AND HERE/THERE.

IT IS ABOUT TIME THE BLOC WAS OPPOSITION AND THE LIBERALS IN REFUGE.

Lets not count this one red just yet,
Phil Green has been very active in the community and has been the only candidate that has taken the time to knock on my door in this riding. Couple that with the fact that the new revised Port Credit area has become a very high rent part of Mississauga and the support seems to be alot higher then many would lead you to believe

This riding may be a suprise on election day

As a former resident of Mississauga South, now living in Calgary, let me tell you there is nothing scary here. All that exists here in the west are people looking for an end to the same old garbage we have seen from politicians since the dawn of time. It’s time to throw out those that are content with the cycle of deceit and status quo. The local canidate is irrelevant in Canadian politics - all that matters is the party. Please vote Conservative and give all of Canada a chance to a bright future.

I could see this one going either red or blue.

The one thing about Paul Szabo (Liberal) is that he is a red tory, despite what anyone says. He voted against same-sex marriage and has had a very conservative opinion during the last 12 years.

There is a very strong Red-Tory feeling in this riding. They’ve usually gone Liberal but it’s a very swing riding overall. The one thing that the liberals did before the last election was adjust the boundaries so that large pocket of liberal inclined immigrants were included in this riding. *Yes, I realize that Elections Canada adjusts boundaries but it’s headed by a liberal strongman*

James Duncan, in all the places to call on NDP voters to vote Liberal - you’re doing it here? Paul Szabo is an extreme social conservative who holds all those “scary” views that Martin accuses the Tories of having. In fact, if he wins I wouldn’t be surprised if he switches parties.
