The Conservatives have one of the best and most ideal candidates in this riding. Also with the surge of the Tories in Quebec…how can you firm place them behind the NDP?
Time to update this projection!

I was working for the Conservative candidate for Brossard-Laprairie and we been getting alot of positive responses from potential voters and we intent to keep on truckin’!

Comment/commentaire by Sacha 01.15.06 @ 4:01 am

We had an 8% bump in one week and the response is getting better and better everyday. Rarely have I seen a campaign change dramatically like that. I also work for the conservative candidate.

Comment/commentaire by Axel 01.15.06 @ 8:31 am

its now 15% bump in 2 weeks and couting for the conservative candidate!

The Bloc is going to win this one easily with the division of the federalist vote. You can make a clear prediction on this one. In 2004, Lussier, “the outsider”, made a nice impression, he is winning this time!

IF… if…if the trend continues, this will be a very close 3 way race. However the likely hood is a Liberal win… I’d say these are the chances the various party’s win. 40% Liberal win 38%Bock win 12% Con win, and a 10% chance Hell freezes over. love your feed back :)

Comment/commentaire by Wendel 01.17.06 @ 12:05 am

I predict a close Saada win on the bloc because the conservative are stealing votes from the bloc instead of splitting the federalist vote wich is a surprise. The conservative will be a force to be reckoned with next time though. Its probably the last time that the bloc is very strong in Quebec because the scandal is gettin older and nothing new is coming out of their camp.

Brossard-La Prairie never had a better M.P. than Jacques Saada.
Let us hope the constituents of this riding recognize the chance they have in having such a great man representing them in the House of Commons.

Well, I can’t help but disagree with John, as their are new scandals digged out of liberal’s closets almost every day! I still believe that Quebeckers will eventually wise up… sooner the better!

Unless the Liberals can win back the ethnic vote, they maybe lucky to even come in 2nd place in this riding.

Comment/commentaire by Erol Hosdil 01.20.06 @ 6:59 am

The ethnic vote is not a liberal party exclusive asset anymore in Québec, both at the federal and the Québec provincial level. Furthermore, there are a lot of different ethnics votes. It is going to be a very complex but amazingly interresting situation to observe in this election as well as in the future, especially in the Québec province where different social values are in contrast with the Ottawa vision , or within the Québec visions of the world. A clash of the visions ! For this particular riding, I would very deeply and gladly see the Conservative party representative person, Mr. Tenzin Dargyal Khangsar won this election, not because he is a Conservative but because he his a person from the Thibet. He is a symbol in himself and only for that reason, if I had the chance to live in his riding, I would gladly vote for him… we would talk together after that with pleasure…I hope!
Please , people of this riding, consider your luck, Mr. Khangsar is a MUST for you and for us all… I wonder why I din’t place myself in politics after all…
Love you all…but please, a person from Thibet, I would be so glad to vote from him !! I come from Mr. Mario Dumont provincial riding , I know what I am talking about when I talk about special candidates !

That Conservative candidate is the worst person ever. Don’t vote for that person!

Comment/commentaire by Anderson, David 01.22.06 @ 4:22 pm

Common David, where does that come from, you know him? LoL thats a funny post

Comment/commentaire by Axel 01.22.06 @ 9:21 pm

Conservative? Progressive? More like Reform to me.
What good is Reform values for Quebec?

Using the Tibetan cause to forward a Conservative agenda??? This is not ethical. I don’t get it.

Maybe Axel can help us on this one!

Comment/commentaire by Anderson, David 01.22.06 @ 10:04 pm

You obviously don’t know him he used to vote liberal all the time but was disgusted with the scandals and is now a moderate conservative. He didn’t made up an image with the tibetan cause, you think dalai-lama would have wasted his time (he met him). You are putting everybody on the same boat here and not every candidate is alike. I wouldn’t work for a guy who’s against women and gays. make some rssearch on tenzin, he worked for cbc and has a wenbsite there are interviews out there.
