Larry Spencer was an Independent Cons whose votes should flow to the incumbant MP, increasing his majority. I also see no Liberal trend in the Prairies.

I’ve never voted Liberal in my life, and I can’t stand strategic voting either. And yet, I feel I should urge all anti-conservative voters in this riding to coalesce around the candidacy of Liberal Tom Anderson. It would be nice if people could just vote for who they want, and get who they vote for, but this is not presently the case.

In fact, if there was such thing as the Anti- Conservative Strategic Voting Council in Regina, here’s how their recommendations would break down:

Regina-Lumsden-Lake Centre: Tom Anderson (LIB)
Regina-Qu’Appelle: Lorne Nystrom (NDP)
Palliser: Jo-Anne Dusel (NDP)
Wascana: Ralph Goodale (LIB)

Until a new proportional voting system is in place, this is the way it has to go down.

Voting Liberal rewards the Martin government’s corruption and dishonesty. Voting for the NDP does absolutely nothing good for the country. I’m voting Conservative to clean up the corruption in Ottawa and so that Saskatchewan gets a fair deal on equalization — something Ralph Goodale has failed to deliver so far.

By the way, Ted, an “an Anti-Conservative Strategic Voting Council”? Surely you must have something better to do with your spare time?

Voting Conservative to clean up corruption is like voting for George Bush to bring about world peace. I have no problem with the idea that we need to punish the Liberals for corruption, but let’s not replace the Boston Strangler with Jack the Ripper!

lain, your totally f*cked up. Did the NDPs do nothing good when they cancelled Paul Martin’s corporate tax cuts? Did the NDPs do nothing good when they invested that money for our children’s education and for affordable housing? Holy f*ck i wonder what ur smoking. *whispers* i want some… lol

The best chance to keep the Cons out of Lumsden Lake Centre is for the vote to coalesce around Gary Anderson, a soft-spoken easy going farmer/rancher. Time for a change — yes– but to what? Do you believe Stephen Harper when he says he has changed? If so why are the reformers still supporting him? Or is it just that being close to power moves you from your core beliefs?

This riding was the NDP’s to take when Larry Spencer showed his true colours with his anti gay rant before the last election. Moe Kovatch dropped the ball and came in a distant third. Now he is trying again. What an embarassment in a riding which should go to the New Democrats.
It looks like we’ll be stuck with our neo-con do nothing, Tom Lukiwski for another term.

Gary Anderson has this one wrapped up.
It will be close but thankfully the soft NDP vote will move to the Liberals to keep the Conservs out.
